Race of Remembrance 2026: why we'll be at Anglesey

In November, the motorsport community gathers at Anglesey to race in memory of the fallen and in support of those who serve. RaceLineApp.ai is proud to be part of it.

“Let’s go racing!”

Every November, on the Remembrance weekend, one of the most unusual events in British motorsport takes place on a circuit perched above the Irish Sea. It is a race, and it is also a Service of Remembrance. This year, RaceLineApp.ai is proud to be part of it.

The Race of Remembrance runs at Anglesey Circuit, Trac Môn, in North Wales from 6 to 8 November 2026. It is the flagship event of Mission Motorsport, The Forces’ Motorsport Charity, run together with the British Racing & Sports Car Club. This will be my fourth year at the Race of Remembrance. For the last three, my part has been Supercar Saturday, taking veterans, beneficiaries and their families out on circuit for passenger laps. That has always meant a lot. This year means far more: RaceLineApp.ai is backing the event, and I am stepping into the pit crew with STS Racing.

What is the Race of Remembrance?

Mission Motorsport was founded in 2012 to support the recovery and rehabilitation of people affected by military service, using motorsport as the tool to reach those who are hardest to reach. The Race of Remembrance is where all of that comes together. Veterans, service leavers, serving personnel and their families spend the weekend as part of race teams, in the garages, on the pit wall and in the cockpit.

What makes it unlike any other race is the pause. The event is built around a 12-hour endurance race for road-car based cars, but on Remembrance Sunday morning the whole field is brought to a halt and the circuit falls silent for a Service of Remembrance held in the pit lane, before the racing resumes. As Mission Motorsport’s founder has put it, it is a Service of Remembrance with a motor race built around it.

What happens across the weekend?

The weekend is a full programme, not just the main race. Saturday brings the on-track running and two of the event’s best-loved traditions.

Supercar Saturday fills the track before the endurance race begins. Service leavers, veterans and their families are taken out on circuit for passenger rides in an extraordinary array of supercars and sports cars, machinery most people never get near, on one of the most spectacular circuits in the country. The race marshals get their turn in the passenger seat too. They are the orange blood cells that keep motorsport alive, and without them none of us could do what we love. It is not about the cars. It is about the people, and the lift it gives them.

The Biathlon of Foolishness is exactly as daft as it sounds, and that is the point. Started by a handful of the Mission Motorsport team in 2015, it has become a tradition: a run out from the paddock, down to the Irish Sea, and a bracing plunge into the cold November water, usually in fancy dress. On an emotional weekend, it is a deliberate bit of light relief, and it raises money for the charity.

Sunday brings the climax of the race and, at its centre, the pause for the Service of Remembrance. That is the heart of the whole weekend.

Where RaceLineApp.ai comes in

We are part of this year’s Race of Remembrance in three ways, and all of them mean a great deal to us.

We are the headline sponsor of the Supercar Saturday Breakfast. This is where the drivers gather first thing on the Saturday, before they head out to give those passenger rides. It is hosted by Chris Harris, a familiar face at the Race of Remembrance and one of the best-known voices in motoring. We are only in our first year, so to put our name to it, at an event that means this much, is a real moment for us.

We have sponsored The Hairpin. Through the Race of Remembrance Legacy Lap, our name is on one of the circuit’s best-known corners, and the one where we have filmed much of the coaching content you will have seen on our social channels. If you follow us, you already know that corner well.

We back a car on the grid. RaceLineApp.ai sponsors the STS Racing Mini, with our logo on the car for the weekend. And I am not just a sponsor this year: you will find me in the garage, on the crew, doing my bit while the team races.

Come and say hello

If you are at Anglesey over the Remembrance weekend, come and find us. You can learn more about the event at Race of Remembrance and about the charity behind it at Mission Motorsport. We will be sharing more from the weekend on Instagram as it happens.

We will remember them.
