Safety

You drive.
We coach.

Motorsport is dangerous. RaceLineApp.ai is built to help you drive better, and it is designed so that you stay in charge at all times.

Important

RaceLineApp.ai is a coaching aid. All cues are advisory only. For use on closed racing circuits only. The driver is solely responsible for all driving decisions at all times.

Cues are advisory

RaceLineApp.ai gives coaching suggestions. It does not control your car and it does not make decisions for you. If a cue doesn't feel right for the situation ahead, ignore it and drive to your own judgement.

Flags and marshals first

The app can't see flags, incidents ahead or marshals' instructions. These always come first, ahead of any coaching cue.

Closed circuits only

RaceLineApp.ai is for use on closed racing circuits at organised events. Never use it on a public road.

Follow your event's rules

The app doesn't replace your circuit's safety briefing, your organiser's rules or professional instruction. Attend the briefing and follow it, and always follow marshals' directions.

Warm up first

Tyres and brakes need time to reach temperature. Take your first laps of every session gently. The coaching reflects this at the start of a session.

When in doubt, it steps back

If the app can't be confident about where you are on circuit, it tells you and stops coaching until it can. Drive to your own judgement until it resumes.

Before you use RaceLineApp.ai

  • You must be 18 or over and hold a valid driving licence.
  • Only use the app at an organised event on a closed circuit.
  • Make sure you're fit to drive, your car is in good mechanical order and you're properly insured for track use.
  • Drive within your ability and the rules of your event at all times.
  • At a circuit that's new to you, book some time with a human coach to show you around before relying on the app, and build up gradually.
