Why we're building RaceLineApp.ai
The best thing for your lap times is a coach in the passenger seat. Most track day drivers never get one. We think that should change.
Anyone who has done a few track days knows the feeling. You come in from a session, look at your laps, and know you left time out there. You can see roughly where. What you can’t see is what you should have done differently at the moment it mattered.
The fastest way to fix that is a professional coach sitting next to you. They tell you when to brake, where to turn in and when to get back on the power, and they tell you while you’re still in the corner. The trouble is cost. A good coach costs upwards of £500 a day, so most drivers book one once, if at all, and then spend the rest of the season trying to remember what they were told.
What’s missing
There are plenty of good tools for track days already. Lap recorders, data loggers and video all capture what happened in detail. We use them ourselves. But they all work after the fact. Existing tools predict lap times and capture everything that happens on track. None of them can tell you what to do in the moment - by the time you analyse it, the lap is already gone.
That gap is what we’re building for.
What RaceLineApp.ai does
RaceLineApp.ai coaches you through every corner while you drive. You hear a short, clear cue at the right moment, in the words a coach would use. The coaching is calculated from your speed, the circuit and the conditions you set before you go out.
Every cue has been written and validated by our Coaching Director, Mark White. Mark is a Grade A licensed ARDS instructor and the 2025 Armed Forces Race Challenge Champion, and he coaches the way he would from the passenger seat.
What happens next
We’re already testing RaceLineApp.ai on track. In spring 2027 we test it at scale, with a closed beta at Silverstone GP. Fifty drivers, one circuit, one day. The feedback from that day will shape the product before it goes to public launch.
If you’d like to be one of them, you can register your interest on the beta page. We’ll be sharing more here as we go, from track day diaries to coaching tips from Mark.
